LouverLamp was designed to be a functional and flat-pack DIY lamp. The various interlocking parts assemble into a simple yet complex lamp with refined aesthetics, and whose illuminating glow creates a soothing ambiance. LouverLamp's incrementally slanted louvers direct light in every direction. The diffused light emanating through textured paper screens radiates with warmth. The open bottom circle projects a round spot of bright light, perfect for illuminating a work area or table. The vents on the top and bottom of the lamp allow heat generated by the bulb to travel up and out, away from the lamp in a convection current. The lamp is constructed from thin and sturdy birch-ply, imparting a soothing natural wood texture to the finished lamp.
